I have been participating this Acumen workshop with 4 other awesome team members. Our backgrounds are diverse: Design, Finance, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, IT, etc…
The topic we choose among 3 is: how might we provide healthier food options for people in need of them?
Since we want to localize the topic, our modified topic has become: How might we help minimizing food waste? Our interest is making the system more efficient so that individuals spend same money and time for better quality food, and food providers can enhance the quality.
There are tons of different things interconnected in food (industry, health, consumption, environment, capital, transportation). We will create prototypes next week.
