Visuals for science marketing

Posted by on Mar 11, 2012 in Reference | No Comments

It’s not surprising to find a lot of marketers in science and technology talking about the efficacy of videos for promotion. They say visuals, especially videos are excellent for illustrating the key technologies or value propositions in 2 minutes to customers (e.g. web) as well as investors (e.g. pitch presentations).

This lesson is applicable not only for entrepreneurs but also for innovators in any groups. Having a visual tool which clearly tells the story (for example, “how it works” animation) would be useful for marketing as well as for internal and external training. It saves a lot of time and cost.

What I want to figure out now is how to measure or quantify the effectiveness of visual tools in the context of business.
